LOCAL HISTORY HUB CARDIFF

There isn’t currently an active Local History Hub in Cardiff, but we’d love to see one develop.

Cardiff has a rich local story, shaped by its growth as a port, the coal trade, industry, migration and the development of the Welsh capital. Its historic places, museums, archives and collections offer extensive opportunities for schools to explore the people, places and communities that have shaped the city.

If you’re a teacher, school, museum, archive, heritage organisation or community partner interested in strengthening local history education in Cardiff, please complete our short Expression of Interest form.

We’ll keep you updated as local interest grows and let you know about opportunities to get involved and help establish a Hub in the area.
