4. Safeguarding Framework

Local History Hub is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children, young people, and adults who take part in our activities.

We work only with schools, heritage organisations, and community partners that have their own safeguarding policies and trained staff in place.

All Local History Hub events and projects are delivered under the safeguarding procedures of the host organisation, and children remain under the supervision of their responsible adults at all times.

Our safeguarding approach is guided by Working Together to Safeguard Children (2023) and Keeping Children Safe in Education (2024).

The Director & Founder, Matthew Harper-Duffy, acts as the Designated Safeguarding Lead for the organisation and can be contacted about any safeguarding matter via enquiries@localhistoryhub.org.

A full Safeguarding Framework is available to view below.
