LOCAL HISTORY HUB GATESHEAD

Interested in a Local History Hub in Gateshead?

There isn’t currently an active Local History Hub in Gateshead, but we’d love to see one develop.

Gateshead has a rich local story, shaped by the River Tyne, industry, engineering and the growth and change of its communities. Its historic places, collections and heritage organisations offer plenty of opportunities for schools to explore the people, places and stories that have shaped the area.
