LOCAL HISTORY HUB KNOWSLEY

There isn’t currently an active Local History Hub in Knowsley, but we’d love to see one develop.

Knowsley has a rich local story, shaped by its historic villages and estates, industrial development and the growth and change of its communities. Its historic places, archives, collections and community heritage offer plenty of opportunities for schools to explore the people, places and stories that have shaped the borough.

If you’re a teacher, school, museum, archive, heritage organisation or community partner interested in strengthening local history education in Knowsley, please complete our short Expression of Interest form.

We’ll keep you updated as local interest grows and let you know about opportunities to get involved and help establish a Hub in the area.
