LOCAL HISTORY HUB MIDDLESBROUGH

Teacher-led, grassroots, and rooted in belonging.

Local History Hub Middlesbrough is launching with the support of Tees Valley Museums. The hub will connect schools, heritage organisations, and community partners to bring Middlesbrough’s past to life - helping children explore the people, places, and events that shaped where they live.

Through curriculum support, collaborative projects, and local storytelling, the hub will make it easier for schools and communities to work together, share knowledge, and celebrate Middlesbrough’s rich heritage.
