April Round-Up: Grassroots Growth and New Local Connections
This month, Local History Hub has taken steady steps forward—launching a new hub in Blackburn with Darwen, making early progress in Cardiff, and expanding our national network with new advisory roles across Wales.
We’re proud to be building something rooted in schools, shaped by teachers, and strengthened by partnerships with museums, archives, and communities. Our latest updates include:
A new hub launched in Blackburn with Darwen, led by Roe Lee Park Primary School
Early-stage work in Cardiff to connect schools with local heritage
New voluntary advisor roles to guide our work across Wales
Deeper partnerships with the AJR, the Migration Museum, and Civic Voice
As always, our focus is on meaningful, local change—driven by those who know their communities best.
