LOCAL HISTORY HUB NOTTINGHAM

There isn’t currently an active Local History Hub in Nottingham, but we’d love to see one develop.

Nottingham has a rich local story, shaped by its medieval past, lace and textile industries, industrial growth and the changing communities of the city. Its historic places, museums, archives and collections offer extensive opportunities for schools to explore the people, places and stories that have shaped Nottingham.

If you’re a teacher, school, museum, archive, heritage organisation or community partner interested in strengthening local history education in Nottingham, please complete our short Expression of Interest form.

We’ll keep you updated as local interest grows and let you know about opportunities to get involved and help establish a Hub in the area.
