LOCAL HISTORY HUB ACCRINGTON & HYNDBURN
Teacher-led, grassroots, and rooted in belonging.
Local History Hub Accrington & Hyndburn brings together schools, heritage organisations, and community partners to explore and share the stories that shape the city and its people. The hub is locally led and designed to strengthen curriculum learning, build lasting partnerships, and celebrate a shared sense of place and identity.
From classroom projects to community collaborations, the hub helps schools connect with their diverse past and bring local history to life for children and young people.
