  • The Durham Local History Hub brings together schools, heritage organisations and community partners to support high-quality, place-based history across County Durham. The hub helps children and young people explore the people, places and stories that have shaped the area, from local communities to globally significant heritage, strengthening connection, belonging and understanding.

Through curriculum-linked learning, partnership working and local storytelling, the hub makes it easier for schools and heritage organisations to work together and ensure that local history is meaningful, accessible and relevant for learners across the county.
