LOCAL HISTORY HUB DERBY
Local History Hub Derby Is Live!
We’re building something new and we’d love you to be part of it.
We’re delighted to announce the launch of Local History Hub Derby, led by Catherine Collins, Year 5 teacher and History Lead at Shelton Junior School. Catherine is passionate about integrating Derby’s rich heritage into the classroom and is now bringing schools, heritage organisations, and communities together through the Hub.
Over the coming weeks, Catherine will be planning the Hub’s first meetings and shaping opportunities for collaboration. We’re also connecting with local museums, archives, and community groups to build a strong, teacher-led network rooted in place and identity.
This page will soon feature local initiatives, updates, and ways to get involved so do check back regularly.
To find out more or register your school’s interest, contact Catherine by clicking here or email the Hub team at enquiries@localhistoryhub.org.uk.
