Local History Hub is delighted to be developing a national partnership with English Heritage. Together, we share a commitment to helping young people engage with history, heritage, and place in meaningful ways. English Heritage cares for over 400 historic sites and more than a million objects across England, offering schools free visits, expert-led workshops, and high-quality classroom resources.

Through this partnership, we’re exploring how English Heritage’s Learning and Participation Officers can connect directly with Local History Hubs in schools across the UK—supporting teachers with tailored CPD, signposting regional opportunities, and bringing local stories to life. By working together, we aim to inspire curiosity, strengthen community connections, and open up pathways into the heritage sector for the next generation.
