Mee the Team

Teacher-led, grassroots, and rooted in belonging.

Local History Hub Warrington is now launching in partnership with Culture Warrington. The hub will bring together schools, heritage organisations, and community partners to help children explore the people, places, and events that have shaped Warrington – deepening local pride and a sense of connection to where they live.

Through curriculum support, collaborative projects, and local storytelling, the hub will make it easier for schools and communities to work together, share knowledge, and celebrate Warrington’s rich and varied heritage.

Get Involved

We’re now building the team that will lead this exciting new chapter.

Local History Hub Warrington will be led by Amanda (Manda) Moore, a heritage professional with over 30 years’ experience. We’re also seeking additional volunteers to join the hub as it grows, including a Schools Hub Lead to help connect and support local teachers across Warrington. This voluntary role is ideal for a teacher or education professional with a passion for local history, community links, and creative curriculum design.

The easiest way to get involved – whether as a Schools Hub Lead, partner organisation, or supporter – is to complete our Expression of Interest Form. It only takes a few minutes and helps us understand how you’d like to be part of the hub’s journey.
