We’re thrilled to welcome Glenn Carter as National Education Advisor for Local History Hub. A primary teacher, Historical Association Fellow, and creator of History Rocks, Glenn brings exceptional expertise in primary history education. Working alongside National Heritage Advisor Marie Woods, he’ll help shape our national strategy, connecting schools, museums, and communities through inclusive, place-based learning rooted in local stories.

We’re delighted to announce that Jenny Wilkie has joined Local History Hub as our new Regional Heritage Advisor for North East England. With over 20 years’ experience in museum education and heritage learning, Jenny will help strengthen partnerships across the region, supporting inclusive, place-based education that celebrates local stories and identity.

We’re delighted to welcome Grace Redpath as our new Regional Heritage Advisor for North East England.Learning Manager at Land of Iron and a PhD researcher at Durham University, Grace brings rich experience in community-led heritage and inclusive curation. She’ll be helping us connect with partners, identify opportunities, and support place-based history across the region.
