A leading figure in history and heritage education, Michael brings over three decades of experience as Director of Maddison Education Consultancy, Chair of Trustees at the Heritage Education Trust, Deputy President of the Historical Association, and former National Lead for History at Ofsted. His expertise and commitment to inspiring young people through high-quality, inclusive history education will be invaluable as Local History Hub continues to grow.

With fourteen years as a History teacher and over eight years as a museum and heritage educator at institutions including the British Library, UCL, and Historic Royal Palaces, Saira brings a wealth of expertise in education, heritage, and community engagement.

A nationally respected curriculum leader and history educator, Alex brings a wealth of experience in inclusive practice, curriculum design, and teacher development.
