Local History Hub Joins The Heritage Alliance

We’re proud to share that Local History Hub is now a member of The Heritage Alliance — the UK’s largest coalition of independent heritage organisations.

As a teacher-led, grassroots initiative, we believe that local history has the power to connect communities, deepen learning, and inspire pride in place. Joining The Heritage Alliance strengthens our connection to the wider heritage sector, ensuring our work is informed by national conversations and aligned with best practice.

This membership also reinforces our commitment to advocating for inclusive, place-based education — and helps us champion the role of schools as active contributors to local heritage.
